Kuta Bali beach is well known since the early 1970s. Kuta beach is also known as Sunset Beach in Bali Indonesia. However the Sunrise Beach is another name for Sanur Beach. You can find many luxury resorts, restaurants, and clubs along the beach.
In 2011, a two-meter white sandstone fence, built in a Balinese architecture style. Furthermore it was built along the road to block the sand from blowing to the cafes and restaurants. The project costs Rp.4 billion ($0.47 million). Some tourists doesn’t agree with this wall construction as it is blocking the beach view, while others believe the wall helps dampen the sounds from the congested traffic on the adjacent street.
Kuta Bali Beach is now the center of an extensive tourist-oriented urban area that merges into the neighboring towns. Legian, to the north, is the commercial hub of Kuta and the site of many restaurants and entertainment spots. Most of the area’s big beachfront hotels are in the southern section of Tuban.
In order to have a cleaner beach, as of late August 2011, the vendors cannot selling food on the beach. However, they can sell beverages and souvenirs.
Warung Murah – Cheap Stalls in Kuta Bali
You will find many International restaurants at Kuta. However, if you want to try Balinese food (traditional food of Bali) you can go to Warung Murah. Warung Murah means ‘Cheap Cafe’ therefore the price of the food is cheap. Moreover the Warung Murah famous for its traditional food.
Years ago, you only find stores or art market in Kuta Bali. However, today, you find lots of luxury malls here. Such as Beachwalk Shopping Mall, Discovery Shopping Mall, Lippo Mall Kuta and Park 23 Mall Kuta.

If you visit Kuta beach, don’t forget to go to other beaches. Kuta beach is near to the Jimbaran beach, Uluwatu tourism area, Pura Tanah Lot, Legian beach and many other dazzling places.
